This high-relief stein is was created from an original fashioned in 1750. The relief motif shows a confrontation of the powers of Good and Evil. Fire-breathing dragons are mysterious creatures in religious fantasies and in people’s legends and are supposed to be anti divine and anti human. The power of Good is in the center, shown as an angel in the front of the stein. The banners at the top and bottom frame the main motif nicely. The inside of the designed pewter lid bears the year the stein was made and the year the original was fashioned.
