What a whirlwind this holiday season has already been for us. We have sold out of the 2009 Budweiser Holiday, 2009 Coors Holiday & the 2009 Miller Holiday, well before “crunch” time. We may be able to get more of the 2009 Coors and the 2009 Miller, but it looks like the Budweiser will remain sold out; sorry to those that have gotten them from us yet. Anheuser-Busch has changed a lot about the way they do business, not in a good way. Two and half weeks ago I could order direct, then I couldn’t without any warning. What we will be able to get next year and what they will produce remains a mystery. These items (Coors, Miller & Budweiser) were featured for sometime on our website for pre-order and we specifically order based on those pre-orders. While it may not always be convenient to order your holiday mug in August, with the way things are headed it seems best to get them while you can. I am sorry for anyone that feels slighted and assure you we are trying to get what we can.

Each 9/11 always leaves my father & I torn. Should we be working today, when so many lives were lost and subsequently continue to be lost. Due to our proximity we know many customers and friends whose lives were touched by these heinous acts. The only comfort we can offer is we will not forget. I once heard a holocaust survivor speak and she said it best: “living is the best revenge”. So, we continue to move forward knowing that nothing will or can replace what was lost but hoping that somehow it has 
given appreciation for what remains.

We are happy to announce that we are currently accepting PRE-ORDERS for the 2009 Munich Oktoberfest Mug and the 2009 Munich Oktoberfest Stein. Currently we are able to maintain the same prices as last year, but with these turbulent times when we receive our delivery the price may need to be increased. We have decided that for all customers that pre-order now, they will essentially be “locked in” at this price. Therefore, if need be for us to increase the price due to the fluctuating dollar or exorbitant delivery surcharges, all customers that pre-ordered will not have to pay one penny more. Being that I like to be hopeful, if by some miracle our dollar gets strong and our transportation fees maintain and we can offer a lower price on either the 2009 Munich Oktoberfest Mug or 2009 Munich Oktoberest Stein, we will give you the best price. Seems like a completely win-win situation for all pre-ordering customers ! If you have any questions, please send them my way.

I am happy to announce we finally found another source for the sports team tap handles. The new style we are getting is slightly different than than the old style we once carried. But, the sample of the graphics look great and we should have the ability to get all of the major sports teams, yes even Cowboys 
Sorry, I am Eagles fan and had to throw that out there. Look for the new taps within the next week or so. If there is any special team or logo you may be looking for let me and I will check and see if we can get it.

We are pleased to announce there will be another stein in the Corona Character…Corona Crab & Bucket Beer Stein. You can view it on our website at http://www.samssteins.com/Corona-Character-Series-12-Crab-Bucket-Beer-Stein-P4988.aspx. We are currently accepting pre-orders. The latest news I received is this item will be shipping late June. If you are interested in getting this stein I suggest you not delay, if you remember correctly the Corona Pirate Parrot was a very small issue (approx. 500 pieces) and those that delayed missed out on really beautiful stein.
